Karra is a Registered Psychologist who studied in both Victoria and Tasmania as part of her pathway to registration. Before entering psychology, she worked across a range of roles that helped shape her warm, grounded and flexible approach to supporting others — including as a school wellbeing officer, where she supported young people experiencing emotional distress, social difficulties and challenges with school and relationships.

Karra works with children from the age of five upwards, as well as adolescents, adults and families. Alongside therapy, she conducts psychological assessments across ADHD, educational and cognitive areas, supporting clients and their families to better understand their needs and access the right support.

Karra believes that every person's experiences and circumstances are unique, and she works collaboratively with clients to support meaningful and sustainable change. She primarily draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while integrating strategies from CBT and DBT to tailor her approach to each individual.

Originally from Gippsland, Karra has travelled extensively and worked overseas, experiences that deepened her appreciation for different cultures and perspectives. Her honours research explored online peer support for parents, reflecting her strong belief in connection and community. She is now relocating to Melbourne and looks forward to supporting individuals, young people and families within the local community.
