What makes us different?
-
Comprehensive Support
You'll join a multi-disciplinary team where psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists work collaboratively. We provide extensive training in evidence-based approaches including EMDR, CBT, and Schema therapy, with mentorship from clinicians with 2-30 years of experience. Our robust crisis management protocols mean you'll feel confident handling complex cases whilst knowing you're never working in isolation.
-
Community Connections
Step into 20+ years of established relationships with local GPs, paediatricians, and schools in Newport. You'll benefit from our ongoing partnerships with the Royal Children's Hospital and our strong referral network. These connections mean meaningful case discussions, collaborative care planning, and the satisfaction of seeing real community impact from your work.
-
Flexible Practice
Enjoy the autonomy of extended hours across six days with day and evening appointments that suit both you and your clients. We offer multiple session formats - face-to-face, phone, and online support - giving you variety in your practice. Our Feedback Informed Treatment approach and crisis support systems provide structure whilst allowing you to develop your therapeutic style.
-
Inspiring Environment
Work in light-filled, welcoming rooms designed to support both clinician wellbeing and client comfort. Our thoughtfully created sensory environment includes aromatherapy and comfortable family spaces that make difficult conversations feel more manageable. You'll find it easier to build rapport when both you and your clients feel genuinely at ease.
-
Cultural Growth
Develop your skills in culturally sensitive practice alongside multilingual colleagues (including Spanish speakers). You'll learn to adapt therapeutic approaches for diverse backgrounds and discover how appropriate humour can enhance therapeutic relationships. Our commitment to accessibility means you'll grow as a practitioner whilst making genuine community impact.
