Matt Dellosa is a compassionate and dedicated Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) who specialises in helping adults navigate complex life challenges and persistent mental health concerns. With a Master of Social Work from the University of Melbourne and a background spanning inpatient, community, and justice settings, Matt provides a grounded, expert perspective for those ready to make a change.
Matt is one of the few clinicians trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)—the gold-standard treatment for chronic sleep issues. He understands that mental health and physical rest are deeply linked; by addressing sleep alongside anxiety and depression, he helps clients achieve faster, more sustainable recovery.
Matt is known for his relaxed, down-to-earth demeanour, which quickly dissolves the "clinical" barrier. He fosters a safe, non-judgmental space where you can discuss difficult topics—including those carrying feelings of shame or vulnerability—without fear. While his approach is warm and person-centred, he isn't afraid to gently challenge unhelpful patterns, ensuring therapy leads to tangible results.
